by LionArch007I love this EP. The songs are great and they showcase Jamie's talents beautifully. It's expertly produced by Jamie, herself and television/film music veteran Kevin Harris and master engineered by the very talented Brian Gardener who's worked with No Doubt, Christina Aguilara and Avril Lavigne to name a few. Now these guys know talent and to have them work on an album, you know it's going to be good. And that's what we have here. From the first note to the last, this EP is filled with warm tones, great memorable melodies, and wonderful harmonies. Jamie's voice is that of a seasoned professional with strength you get from years of dedicated training. If her talent were stock, I'd buy a million shares. Something you may not know about Jamie is that she's a featured artist on the website allykatzz.com It's a website for young girls to express themselves through poetry and blogs. She is a woderful role-model for these young girls to look up to. She's showing them that achieving your dreams is possible. I look forward to hearing her throughout her career.... and to seeing her in concert.
Jamie Lynn Noon has found her "Moment"
by Cincy John"A Moment to Break" has recently become Jamie Lynn Noon's debut solo EP. It will not be her last. The west coast singer-songwriter offers a truly unique blend of her angelic vocals and subtly complex melodies and structures in the six-song EP released on Janaury 27th. This young artist is neither a studio invention nor the latest imitator of the recent young successes of her gender (Caillait, Swift, et al). She is rather more reminiscent of a Nora Jones with her hauntingly beautiful variation in vocal tone, quality and delivery. She sings with a quiet confidence and ease that belies her youth but reflects her talent and training.
Listen for thirty seconds and you will be hooked by this infectious newcomer.
