Love It!

Still a great band but...
by jc111290I feel like they left behind what they had in their first album. It was a different sound which set them apart from other bands and although there are some songs that still show that, i don't like some of the songs. With that said, its still a great album and worth the listen
Rocks
by GunsNFnRGreat second album from the best new band I've heard in some while. It's hard to put a label on their sound, they are a straight up rock band, but with electronic sensibilities as well (or vice versa), but much heavier than the typical band of that genre. Kids on Fire seems to be the single off the album, and it'll probably get a good amount of radio play, but there are several very decent songs on the rest of the album as well (Red House is fantastic, zeppelin-esque vocals with a rocking outro). I've seen them play in new york, very tight-sounding live, clearly a class above the rest of the local scene in Brooklyn. Big fan of their first album, if you like this I'd check that out as well.
