Oh Most Wonderful....

But Rich, Greg Naughton & Brian Chartrand's voices all mesh so beautifully that the group is an exponentially delightful listen. Lovely woven vocals by gifted musicians, obviously well matched, and perfect complements to one another. So great on a cold, fall afternoon, with a fire and a cashmere throw.... and perhaps a friend under the throw.

This trio's consistently smooth but upbeat sound stems from a unique blend of three amazing voices, meaningful air-tight lyrics, and a collection of unusually comforting acoustic arrangements. Best of all, this album is a testament to truly independent music, produced not for a label, but for the simple purpose of creating a new sound that invokes the timeless feelings of love, loss, friendship and relaxation. Laurel & Sunset is a MUST for summertime drives with the windows down, drinking beers on the porch after a long day, or uncorking that bottle of red you've been waiting to share with someone special.
A Perfect Record
by jragerMy wife and I adore the Sweet Remains and we picked this record up at their show in San Francisco. They are fresh, gifted songwriters, and all three have developed and solid voices. What sets them apart is the balance in the band. They lay harmonies two and three at a time throughout a song and it's always perfectly executed, and really well-arranged too. The songs are both fun and moving, and even on a short trip in the car, we always make time for Printemps a Paris and So Lonely, a fantastic take on an otherwise uncoverable Police song.
