i like how it's on the short end for a symphony too. i think it also has a pretty melody, and the variations on it are great!

I was wondering if anyone noticed the fact that the duration of this quite interesting little piece happens to be exactly 4'33"? John Cage, you have met your match. If anything like real silence was possible in today's world maybe 4-1/2 minutes would be worth the same as the same amount of music. But not for my 99 cents. Thanks, Tan Dun, for an enjoyable time.

I think this is so beautiful! It should be passed down through the ages just like Beethoven and Bach' music has! I love this song to death and will never bore of it! it makes me smile when im sad! :)))
