A dark side of Jack White

The Dead Weather are an unapologetically dark band, in lyrics and in sound. Hang You from the Heavens is about an intensely frustrated romantic relationship. The music is pounding, buzzing, unmelodic hard rock that stresses dysfunction. Are Friends Electric is also a lyrical downer, just not nearly as angry. However, it benefits from a slightly goofy synthesized riff that is, in itself, more fun than anything in Hang You from the Heavens. The lyrics about a lonely woman leave her lonely at end of the song.
Don't waste your time with this stuff. I'm writing as someone who likes the White Stripes and the Raconteurs.

Bosshog did this music years ago, and did it much better. It's not bad, it's just been done before.
