I never write reviews....but I read a bunch. I just had to drop a note that in the age of digital music, and I-pods, that albums don't get cred for being albums anymore. This is the best album I've heard since before MP3 era. I just bought a record player and I need to find this on vinyl! I was expecting somthing glossed over with pro-tools technology...but was blown away by the raw moodyness of this masterpeice. Best album since Radiohead's OK Computer!!!!!!

except it seems like this album has been slightly influenced by other bands that have toured with them (Black Moth Super Rainbow and SD & WD's) but only slightly. And really, you could argue that those two bands are using sounds that originated with the Flaming Lips. Anyway, regardless of all that crap, Embryonic is completely different, yet maintains the Authentic Flaming Lips sound which never ceases to be novel.
