A NOTE TO ONE STAR PEOPLE><><>< you're an idiot, no offence. saying the doors are garbage is just making yourself look ignorent. Jim is just about the greatest musical artist ever. This music influenced mant great bands and genres. It influenced Punk rock, slow jamzz, and believe it or not rap. many rappers (including snoop dogg) and rock bands have atempted to recreate The Doors music. Some have failed, Some have had sucsess. if you don't believe me look at snoop doggs version of "Riders On The Storm", The Doors are, aswe would say at this time, "The happening". Honestly, he probably rolling over in his grave because of ignorent people who give an album one star. This band required talent. what happened to music? all i hear on the main stream is some rapper named, "lil wayne". His music requires no skill what so ever. His voice is terrible, and honetly he has no skill, what so ever. I could go on and on about the history of music but itunes has a length restriction. Thanks for reading.

A necessary additional to any itunes library

First- 'Hello, I love you' is on the 'Waiting for the Sun' album.

I agree that the original vinyl is the way The Doors intended this album to listened to. However, based on what I have read about the guys, they all embraced technology and contributed to making this 40th anniversary album special. What amazes me about this album is that every single song is still very relevant, has a ton of soul, great lyrics and unique sound from the bass, drums, and keyboard to Jim's voice. I consider this album a must buy and would highly recommend buying it, you will not be disappointed!
