Ive still got the songs dancing in my head
by jakie99As a commited reader of Pitchfork ive realized that when the worthy recognition of Best New Music is awarded, the band deserves to be looked at. This choice as the Best New music is dead on. Their lyrics speak for themself while their music pioneers the indie field of today. The voice is addictingly fresh, and each song is crafted perfectly. This is a great album, and sure to be one of the best of the year!!!!!!! if you like this one, check out the XX.

Reminscent of the early
by jhm001The album has a strong connection to the early to mid-1980s and the likes of the Bronski Beat / Jimmy Sommerville / The Communards / Marc Almond. There's also some comparison to be made with the Fine Young Cannibals (indeed, Sommerville did some backup vocals for them). If you like this, you should definitely check this earlier body of work out.
