iTunes Review

Creed represent a form of hard rock that deliberately resists change. Once the formula is perfected, the goal is to replicate it as often as possible until its positive effects can no longer be felt. It’s no surprise that ego would tear this band apart. Eight years have given the band the chance to catch their breath and come up with a consistently strong album that still manages to sound as if they’d never called it quits in the first place. The band excels at music that believes in itself beyond all else. It takes a completely self-possessed hard-rock singer like Scott Stapp to lead the attack convincingly. “Overcome” is a tough, challenging, likable opener. “Rain” sports the band’s nod towards Seattle grunge. “Away In Silence” delivers the dynamics that made the band arena favorites, from an acoustic lullaby to a crunchy anthem. “Fear” throws in a funky riff. The title track again goes to the acoustic guitar for a bluesy cruise. “Time” ripples in the sad waters. Creed never looks to reinvent the wheel as long as their wheel is working fine.

THE KINGS are BACK and BETTER than EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Ok first off, I have always been a Creed/Alter Bridge/Scott Stapp fan. I loved all their albums but always preferred the heavier side of Creed. Well, this album DEFINITELY delivers that (and more). This album is amazing from start to finish. Tremonti delivers some amazing guitar riffs (as he always does) layered with Stapps new style of vocals makes this album a near perfect 10 for me. This album has a great variety of music and really shows the talent these guys have. The song writing is top notch, no filler songs here folks, any song on this album could be a big hit. IT IS THAT GOOD. Great Creed album to date, period. Standout tracks are are A Thousand Faces, Away In Silence, Fear, On My Sleeve, Full Circle, Time, and The Song You Sing. If you are fan of rock please pick this album up, even if you hated Creed before you should still give it a chance because this definitely isn't the Creed of old. This is Creed 2010!!!!!!!

Can't get any better!

Creed just keeps getting better each album. I've listened to this stuff since I was a little kid and all I can say is wow to every album. And for all you haters, quit listening to lady gaga and get a taste in music.
