Make Thyself Naked

Vince's EP reminds me of Jon Foreman's EP series. More intrumentation than Foreman, but similar in its stab at something deep within us.

The lyrics are deceptively simple and ask the questions that we're too scared to ask.

A beautiful, penetrating, and truthful EP that make Vince stand out among the acoustical sounds coming from EPs.

Can't stop listening.

Make Yourself Naked.

As simple as these songs are, you feel the power of emotion behind them. The beautiful melodies Vince has mashed together with lyrics just personal enough for one to think these songs were written for or about oneself. It's much more stripped down from the bands previous record Citizen, however it is "naked", imtimate, and thematically - it's vulnerable. With its beautiful guitar strung behind a unique voice this is one EP I will not soon forget.

Eloquent, Beautiful Music

Vince is one of the many singer/songwriters out there on the fringe of widespread greatness. Anyone who takes the time to listen and absorb his songs knows this. This latest Make Yourself Naked EP is no expception and, in my opinion, actually presents his eloquence in a more direct and stripped down fashion. It's a more intimate offering than Citizen - a real treat for a long-time AOM fan!
