iTunes Review

Carrie Underwood accomplishes a good deal on her third album Play On. She reconfirms her stature as one of country’s outstanding female vocalists while making a bold play for the pop marketplace. Play On gives her a batch of superior tunes to apply her sterling vocals to, ranging from sweet folk-country numbers (“This Time,” “Quitter”) to sleek ‘n’ sassy twang-rockers (“Undo It”). Underwood harkens back to her hit “Before He Cheats” by tearing into a gallery of two-timing boyfriends on scathing tracks like “Cowboy Casanova” and “Songs Like This.” Anger isn’t the predominant note here, though — themes of gratitude (“Mama’s Song”), idealism (“Change”) and spiritual affirmation (“Temporary Home”) lend this album a positive glow. Underwood shows her innate grace as a singer on two aching ballads, “Someday When I Start Loving You” and “What Can I Say” (the latter a duet with Sons of Sylvia’s Ashley Clark). She soars mightily on the title track, infusing it with the fire of a personal credo. Play On combines technical excellence with genuine heart.

Play on by Carrie is the most diverse and fantastic album. this album has all types of songs for anyone in any genre. She has shown her writing skills. This album is a softer side of Carrie. I think everyone will enjoy this album because it shows how talented and very loving person she is. Liaten to this album at least twice because then it will really show how much Carrie has matured in singing and songwriting. I feel that each song shows a different way to look at thinks in life. my favorite is Temporary home , which she writes what she believes in. It covers most all common situation that can happen to you. and to let you know to enjoy you time on earth which is only your temporary place. I also think that she shows and helps people with different senerios. For instance the song undo it, it shows how when one person breaks upa romance they had her heart now the other wants it back. Mamma song is also about finding the right person and that their mamma did a great job and its time to move on. I think every song goes together well, fantastic. Every person nomatter what your favvorite type of music is, this album has something at the very least 2 songs that anyone will love. I hope everyone will enjoy this album at much as I do. PlayOn means no matter what good or bad just continue on with your life if its bad it will get better, and if is good you play on it be be great. I hope everyone will listen and enjoy all the beautiful messages. NO matter what. go buy this album and you will not be diappointed.
