Not for us...
by jerm9023I think it is important to realize that this music is not for us. This is not to try something new as Jack's Mannequin. This is not a change in direction for the band.
This album is for Andy, and Andy's loved ones. It is a partial soundtrack to the movie 'Dear Jack'. Because of that, this is a beautiful album in all possible ways. All the lyrics are deep and moving. This is especially true if you have seen the film.
Andrew McMahon will always be one of the most poetic and beautiful writers around today. His songs are honest, and with each one he invites us to be a part of his life, his experiences, and his story. This album invites us to be a part of the hardest part of his life, which is quite amazing.
Do yourself a favor and get 'Dear Jack' the documentary...
