Been A Fan Since Revolution
by Agondonter606The first time I heard "Look At Me", I was hooked. The first time I saw Shyboy on stage, I fell in love. Kill Switch, the quintessence of what I know to be the native L.A. sound, has rocked my circle since these cats generously threw a copy my way. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, the dream album proved to balance both heat and sound in an experience rich with purpose and meaning. Damn these guys are good!
Turn It On With Kill Switch
by RavensQuoteI first learned about Hypnogaja through a coworker who moonlighted in the music industry. The coworker was friends with a member of Hypnogaja and loaned me a copy of this CD along with an invite to see them in concert. By the time the concert came around, I was hooked. I knew every song verbatim and rocked my heart out at the concert. Their lyrics are soulfoul and powerful. "Nothing Box" is the driving force on this album, and to date, Kill Switch exceeds the quality of their later album releases, although there are some really great tunes not to be ignored on those later releases. The songs themselves really resonate about people almost everyone knows in their own life. If you've ever loved anyone who lives life in the fast lane and always seems a bit lost, "Nowhere" speaks to you like no other song can. This album is best enjoyed when purchased as a whole album, as every song is a hit, especially the bonus remix of "Nothing Box" not available as a single. This group should be played on every major radio station nationwide. Simply put, THEY ROCK!
Great mix of style!
by FreyIm not sure if this is their first CD or not, but its a nice mix of styles by one group. Nothing box and need to believe are great. There isn't a song on here that i would delete. GET THIS!
