Album Review
Although it lacks a standout single like "Birdhouse in Your Soul," Apollo 18 is a more consistent album than Flood, overflowing with ideas and pop hooks. The most noteworthy idea may have been "Fingertips," a "suite" of 21 song fragments designed to make each random play a new experience, but the meat of the album lies in pop songs like "I Palindrome I," "My Evil Twin," "She's Actual Size," and "Which Describes How You're Feeling." The album has a slightly darker feeling than its predecessors, but that just gives the album a resonance that was missing on Flood.

What the noise is going on with the price??
by L!zzaFingertips is one song and that's how it plays on the original album. Breaking it up and charging 99 cents a pop is pretty darn ridiculous. This is the best album for introducing newcomers to They Might Be Giants & you're doing the band such a disservice with the price. Maybe it's the band who wants this pricing, I suppose. Nonetheless, it stinks.

by HeroicBardIn the tape copy I have for Apollo 18, the Fingertips series is one song, all of them put together. This is ridiculous, a dollar for 10 seconds. Not to mention taxes. I'll repeat it, THIS IS REALLY, REALLY, RIDICULOUS. As for everything else, pure genius on TMBG'S part. Just buy another copy somewhere else, this isn't worth it.
Most Insane Price EVER.
by ScolidWow. This IS a good album, but DO NOT by it for $25. The price is just insane. You can buy it elsewhere for like 5 bucks. Highway robbery here. It seems ITunes needs a new way to charge when bands artistically make extremely short tracks as in the case here. Just an insane price.
