Works over Edge!
It works flawlessly over the Edge network driving down the highway! Even in areas of weak signal. Worth $9.99 ... Oh wait, it's free.
WARNING - Medialets!! Do not upgrade!!
I've been using pandora on my iPhone for over a year, listening to it DAILY to and from work in my car, around my house and out and about. I would recommend it to my friends all the time... that is until this last update.
The newest update added what's called Medialets, which track your behavior, and send all kinds of personal data about you to advertisers. The update was very misleading, stating that it was for "bug fixes", that's a lie. They decreased the audio quality (presumabley to coddle AT&Ts whining about their network usage), there's a very obtrusive message at the onset of the application, as well as the presence of Medilets.
I will not be using Pandora any longer. I will hide the icon (thank you BossPrefs), and unless the last ipdate us reversed, I'll be deleting it in 1 month. Hello Slacker Radio.
Oh, and for all you tard monkeys who keep complaining about the lack of backgrounding, either j@1lbre@k and install backgrounder, or bring your beef to Apple, it's their fault this isn't an option. The only thing third party apps are allowed to do, is "Save state", which essentially pauses the application until you open it again.
It pains me to do this, because I really like Pandora on iPhone, but I'm giving you 1 star, at least be honest, seriously.
Very stable and usable app.
This is the best app on the appstore. Used it for 30 mins sessions, never crashed. I still can not believe that I can listen to Pandora anywhere now. This is one app that I will use everyday.
Negatives : The pause button could be better. It should be pause, close the app, come back to the app, resume unfinished song. Pandora downloads the music file on to the phone, it should be able to bookmark and resume the song across sessions. Also, the app should remember the stream on which the user was on across sessions.
