Word game fans rejoice! If you’ve enjoyed countless hours playing games like TextTwist, Word Scramble, Jumble, Boggle, or Scrabble, then Word Warp is the game for you!
Similar to Text Twist, Word Warp is a challenging anagram type of word game in which you try to form as many words as you can out of the six letters you are given before time runs out. You will receive points for each correct word you come up with, but in order to advance to the next level you must come up with at least one word that uses all six letters.
Stumped? Word Warp has a Warp Button that will rearrange the letters for you so you may recognize some words you previously missed. There is also an option to change the allotted game time to give yourself more time - or make it more challenging.
Once the level is completed, you are given the list of all the possible words and you can tap any of the words to see its definition.
So if you want a fun and addicting game that keeps your brain sharp and builds your vocabulary at the same time, then definitely give Word Warp a try!

This is the one I play most often, but......NEW UPDATED RATING.....now superior to Lexitron
This one is the closest to the original TextTwist, and is more comfortable to use than Lexitron, but the letters are way too small. The words completed don't alway line up in alphabetical order, either. That being said, it does recognize some legit words that TextTwist did not, and the format is something I'm more used to. I like that it has no sounds so you can listen to music while playing. The adjustable time clock is a nice feature. I definitely like it better than Sextuple, it's more challenging, and I can't get used to the Lexitron format, where you have to double tap when completing a word. Fix the type size, and you'll have the closest thing to the original. Look at TextTwist format, it has much larger font in the same amount of space.
UPDATE: As can be viewed, they have fixed all the issues I had with the original version. THIS IS NOW THE BEST TEXTTWIST CLONE, HANDS DOWN. I have them all, Lexitron, Txttwst, Muddled, Sextuple, and this one is now by far the easiest to use, especially compared to Lexitron, the only other app of this genre where you have to get the six letter word to advance. The others only require a percentage, which they don't specify, which makes it too easy and boring. Thanks for listening, MobilityWare. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION from a TextTwist addict.
Good word game
I often play Text Twist and found this to be very similar and easy to play. The letters were very responsive to my touch. Since the screen displays my previous high score I find it challenging to beat that score. This is a good game for someone who likes word games. One suggestion: award additional points when all words are found before the timer is up.
Not bad for the price...
...it keeps me entertained for awhile. I was a text twist junkie on my blackberry. This is as close as it gets right now for the iphone. Would like to be able to place some letters and warp the remaining. Would also like letters to not warp unless I press "warp." Would like to be able to move to next level after finding all words, but have to wait for time to run out. This game doesn't seem to respond as quickly to my touch as others, so wastes precious seconds. Overall? if I had to choose again, I'd still buy it.
