No high-fidelity setting
The deal-breaker for this recorder is that there is no high-fidelity recording setting. The iPhone has a great built-in microphone but this program does not take advantage of it. For me, QuickVoice gets beat out by both VoiceNotes and Recordifier because of the lack in recording quality. The one thing that this recorder has that the others don't, though, is the ability to bounce around within a recorded file. It also has the ability to record as long as you want, which is on par with Recordifier. If you're not concerned with obtaining high-quality recordings, this is probably the best recorder out right now for iPhone.
I've been waiting for this!
I've used this product on my laptop for over a year now. When I purchased my iPhone, I knew I had to have this program. Quickvoice is the bomb!!! I am a musician and there are times I need to capture a quick idea. Normally i would have to call my voice mail to recall my Idea. But this program makes life a little easier by not having to carry around a bunch of devices just for a quick thought or melody.
Easy to use, small file size.
This program does an excellent job of recording random voice memos and thoughts and works surprisingly well as a recorder for a person to person conversation. This is convenient to, for example, record an on site conversation with a client, as it backs up written notes and eliminates "selective memory" gremlin presented by some clients who cause problems so often for service businesses, contractors, etc. It makes reasonably small sized files so that it could a long memo(or conversation) easily.
