What's New in Version 1.12
For 3GS owners (3.1 required):
Urbanspoon augments reality! Pull up the Scope to see nearby restaurants. Zero in with the crosshairs and tap the restaurant for details. Point your camera at the ground to switch to a map view. The Scope requires GPS, a compass, and a camera so it only works on the 3GS.
For other devices:
The Scope shows nearby restaurants on a draggable map. If your location isn't quite right, drag the blue dot to get a better fix. Tap the List button to get to the classic Near Me screen.

Check available cities first!
Go to the Urban Spoon website before you download. If your location is not one of the supported cities, this app will crash on launch.
Great Idea and Functionality except for...
PROS: Love the concept and execution. Perfect tool for finding restaurants with different critera in the available cities
CONS: very limited number of available cities (e.g. none in NJ). Also, when you try to email a restaurant, only the name is sent, not the address/phone, link to map, website or anything else
Marriage saver
This is the best application ever! It is going to prevent the"what restaurant should we eat at tonight" fight! Thanks urban spoon for saving my marriage
