Expensive and crashes
My 1st Gen iPhone has crashed 3 times when trying to run it and makes the phone reboot. It worked 2 other times. $10 is a rip when the app blows up. Hopefully the crash logs will help them make this better and I'll get an update that works better.
Good game, BAD controls...
The game itself is basically the original Ms. PAC-MAN game we all love, but the controls are kind of hard to get used to and are not as responsive as I would like them to be... Don't be surprised if you get killed more than once having pressed the right key on the digital d-pad.
Controls!
This provides three control modes: D-pad, accelerometer, and "swipe". Unfortunately none work very well. Accelerometer requires too much exaggerated tilting. Swipe requires a separate flick for each turn, you can't hold your finger down and make several zig zag turns. And d-pad could have been the best if they hadn't limited the touch area just to the tiny "plus" graphic. They should just divide the space in that area into a quadrant make it all active. As is, it's awfully hard to drag out a 90 degree turn on the D-pad without going out of bounds.
That being said, swipe is the best mode, you do get used to the "pick up your finger and flick for each little turn." But if they fixed the d-pad the game would be a lot more fun.
