Description
Equivalence is the last conversion tool you'll ever need. Designed from the ground up by engineers and for engineers, Equivalence makes your tedious, day-to-day conversions between unit systems a breeze. Less intensive conversions are even easier, which makes it great for simple and advanced users alike.
The true power of Equivalence lies in its advanced landscape mode - this one of a kind mode is unique to Equivalence, giving you functionality not available anywhere else. Equivalence also includes a one of a kind database architecture that supports "over-the-air" updates, enabling lightning fast response times and new units and types to be added without long waiting periods between AppStore updates.
Features include:
• Extensive library of units and constants with nearly 600 units in 33 types, including over 150 different currencies
• Auto-update system for quick additions and changes to the database over the air, bypassing long AppStore update queues
• Easy-to-use basic mode for simple conversions similar to most popular conversion utilities
• Advanced mode allows for freeform conversions involving any combination of units
• Powerful and thoroughly tested expression processing engine to ensure your results are calculated quickly and accurately
• Unit Morpher converts your result to your desired resultant units
• Library of common physical constants for easy input
• Scrolling fields accommodate long expressions and results
• Multiple pages of common units accessible from the keypad

Customer Reviews
Needs a lot of work
Very limited usefulness because of the incredibly sparse unit set. Nothing for power other than watt, and kilowatt; where are horsepower, btu/hr, etc? Same thing for pressure; some of the missing pressure units are atmospheres, inHg, mmHg, Torr, and bar. The program can't convert something as simple as liter/sec to gpm so far as I can tell. It goes on and on. The author needs to take a look at the NIST handbook of unit conversions.
Good utility
It a good utility but it needs more units. Please add more electrical units!
Missing some things
A good application but it is missing some european conversions like stone etc and as one other person noted no volume.
