The best so far.. but still a lot of work to go.
     

Let me start by saying I think this is the best of all the calorie counting iphone applications. The User Interface is nicely laid out, the tabs are great and the icons are helpful. Even the food catalog is very nicely laid out with multiple levels of meaningful entries.

There are still a few problems which need to be ironed out:

The database is pretty much your stock FDA database and does not have many/most of the things *real* people eat. Resturaunts, brand name goods, etc are no where to be found.

The text entry forms are buggy and often I have to back out of a view since the keyboard will refuse to re-appear on certain forms.

Adding your own custom foods is great, but the problem is that the measurement system is all messed up. Unless your custom food entry is in ml, g or "piece" you will be pretty disappointed. There doesn't appear to be a quick way to add a number like "100 calories of crap" quickly and so adding quick entries of things not in your list (almost everything) is really hard. You will find yourself having to convert cups to ml, etc. while trying to add your food items to the database.

The application shows you how many calories you have eaten but doesn't do simple math like (you have X numbers of calories left). You also cannot change your goal end date, it assumes you want to lose 2 lbs per week.

You cannot track sodium but you can track carbs, protein, calories and alcohol.

Please fix!
     

I have really enjoyed this app for the past 6 days but I have just found out that this app only stores 7 days worth of food and exercise logs. I am so upset to find out that my hard work of entering in my daily log will not be saved. It would be really nice if these logs could be archived or saved in some way. Sending the daily logs to email would also work.
I really do like this app. It has great potential. It also gets easier as you go because you can save meals and food that you commonly eat.

Everything I was expecting
     

This app is pretty much everything I expected, and is definitely the best of its type. It could be improved by offering more foods already built in, like if it could access this info through the phone's internet.

Also, even though I chose US configuration for measurements, this only applied to my weight in LBS instead of Kilos, however for food measurements it still defaults to european settings. It has the ability to enter in your own food nutritional values, but it limits the measurement units you can use to grams (which nobody uses at all), piece, or Mililliters. I know the US is stupid for not using the metric system, but as of now, it complicates my life to try and convert everything. Please update this!

Otherwise, I like the interface, and I like the capabilities!
