What's not to love?
Maybe they've updated this since some earlier reviewers tried it. The version I got (and yes, it says "free" on the icon) lets me choose any time interval up to 59 minutes, 55 seconds in 5 second intervals. It runs perfectly fine if I lay my iPod Touch flat on the table. It keeps the screen awake while the timer is running (unlike some other timers I tested). The 5-seconds-to-go warning blips are great for use as a game timer if not everyone can see the timer. This is just what I was looking for, and it's free.
