Description
Pocket Sounds, is a collection of sounds that fits in your pocket. I developed it for my 2 year old son who loves hearing sounds and associating them with animals and objects.
This app contains 6 pages, with 8 sounds on each (48 in total for the mathematically challenged). The first 5 pages are shorter sounds of things like animals, cars and other sounds like that.
The last page contains 8 high quality, longer sounds, useful for when your kid (or whichever kid you're trying to keep quiet) gets to you. Put on some headphones and enjoy the sound of heavy rain, soft rain, running water, rainforest, waves, wind, camp fire and the great outdoors.
We have decided to keep Pocket Sounds 100% free. People seem to be enjoying it and who are we to take that away (think of the children!). If you really like it, and really want to pay us, then purchase our other application Pocket Weather AU.

- Fooled my wife with the doorbell noise and laughed for hours as she answered the door
- removed custom sound control and added system sound instead (so that you don't have to set 2 separate volumes)

Good clean fun
First thing: if you don't hear the farm or urban sounds on an iPhone TURN YOUR RINGER ON. Not sure why, but the "nature" sounds still play with the ringer off, which is confusing...
Sound samples are good, I especially like the cow and pig, which are great fun to use in restaurants :)
Yes, crickets would be nice... but Im hoping the developer will consider making a "custom" tab, where we can create our own sounds and bind our own pictures. Could be fun to add snoring, farts, or even Sally's faked orgasm from "When Harry met Sally" ;)
Great app for a 2 year old
Perfect to keep my son occupied. Not sure about the laser gun sound though. Would be nice if an option to disable it is included.
