Description
Yammer for iPhone is a tool for making companies and organizations more productive through the exchange of short frequent answers to one simple question: “What are you working on?” As employees answer that simple question, a collaborative communication feed is created in one central location enabling employees to voice their ideas, suggestions, feedback, and answers. Anyone in a company can start their Yammer network. However, networks are private and access to each network is restricted to others except to those with a valid company email address with the same domain.

Yammer v. Twitter
Esria used twitter with grouptweet for the past several months and it received a less than stellar adoption rate internally. Yammer has met most if not all of the business issues we had hoped to address and furthermore was organically adopted virtually overnight by the entire organization! I heartily reccommend Yammer's service and look forward to the client improving with features such as horizontal keyboard for yammering... (hint hint) -Bob Stewart CEO Esria, Inc.
Simple and functional

Unable to log in
v 1.609 simply prompts me to login over and over.
Symptoms: I launch the app, drop into mobile Safari on the iPhone to auth, login cleanly, and authorize the app, and still get prompted over and over. Troubleshooting steps: Cleared browser on iPhone, cleared cache, rebooted phone, deleted-and-reinstalled. Nada.
I *want* to like it. Colleagues who have gotten it to work rave positively about the app...but I can never authenticate. It's not my password: can log in cleanly on browser, on firefox app, and on mac app. This app is broken badly. Wait until they fix it. Going back to TwitPhone and twitter.
