Description
It's an intergalactic emergency! Look! It's Star Trigon by Namco to the rescue! Help the Star Trigon Team rescue the space-traveling Uchujin from drifting aimlessly in space. Utilize the special Trigon rescue technique by tapping the screen to hop from planet to planet and form Trigons. Surround an Uchujin in a Trigon to save them! Be sure to save them all before your air supply runs out! Nanco did something right!
Seriously, after seeing the rip off remixes they have of old software seeing something from this decade was refreshing. I soon found out this game is amazing and has soooo much polish. It's sad namco has ruined their reputation with iPhone gamers because of their other poor ports as there are hardly any reviews in here. However, I'm glad the screenshots and online reviews won me over. Please dload this game as it's totally worth the asking price. Also get galcon and vector blaster. All three kinds compliment eachother nicely.
Arcade/Puzzle action on the go!
Fun, fun, fun, just don't ask me to explain the plot. Successfully blends arcade style gameplay with puzzle elements. Highly addictive, you have been warned.
Attention Mr. Driller Fans!
Star Trigon is a simple, yet very addictive spin-off of Namco's fantastic Mr. Driller series (Hori Susumu, Mr. Driller himself, is even a playable character in this game).
The play mechanics, which have you running around small planetoids and leaping between them to form triangular connections, harken back to classic arcade titles, and they translate extremely well to the iPod Touch. Everything looks fantastic thanks to the bright and colorful graphics. Mr. Driller fans will also be familiar with the design aesthetic, which perfectly matches those games.
This port of the little known 2002 arcade game is one of the better titles available for the iPod Touch. I was not disappointed.
