Best $2.99 I've ever spent!
The TV Forecast Dashboard widget has been my life for as long as I've had a Mac - I'm addicted to too many TV shows to remember when they air and on what channel, at what time, etc. So when I saw this on the App Store, I didn't hesitate. Having bought that What's On? app, I can say with full confidence that this app is 10248209347023508 times better! The What's On app wouldn't list shows that hadn't started their seasons yet... but I watch Lost, for example, so what if I want to know what day in January it starts? This widget keeps track of ALL my shows, on- or off-season, and even gives a short preview-summary of the next episode, as well as all previous episodes. Overall, this is now the most useful app I own, and will be invaluable in the future. Buy TV Forecast - you won't regret it!
Liked it better when it was free, but a needed program so I had to buy it.
This app works great. It is way better than its webapp counterpart, with the added countdown feature (which is awsome). I didnt mind paying the three bucks cuz really what is that like a big mac and a coke? But if you could somehow put in like a reminder feature, I would happily donate more money or heck put out another app that does that and ill buy that too. It would be great if instead of me emailing myself a reminder, this app could email me like 2 hours before the show started so I could prepare, cuz im one of the few people without a DVR. All in all, well worth the money.
Know when your show is on
TV Forecast is ideal for the growing audience of those who follow specific TV shows - perhaps not even on TV, but via digital download - instead of surfing around endless, crummy channels. Add the shows you follow and see when they're on, including episode summaries, previous episode info, and gorgeous cover art.
The app has perhaps the best detail view (after you tap on a show) in the store. It's classy, informative, and does just what it should.
And hey, finally a third-party app that uses the landscape mode.
