What's New in Version 1.5
[Fixed] With the latest iPhone OS release, MapsBuddy was not showing the locations correctly within Maps. This has been fixed with the new release.

Update fix
The App was bad for a time, a glitch showing the whole earth. On 10/16/09 I did an App update. There was Map Buddy!! It is back to normal again. Awesome App and worth every penny.
The bad reviews were about the glitch. IT IS FIXED...YAY!!!!!!
You Can Do Better Than This
This app does a poor job at performing it's intended task. The search function is unorganized, vague, and produces unhelpful results. The "I Want" app is better at searching for nearby categorized products/services, and "Urbanspoon" and "Goodrec" are better search tools for restaurants. I'm sure there are others. Don't waste your time with this one.
