How does it work?
1. Click the icon to make Vocalia's Eye appear
2. Choose the right mode: Contacts, iPod or Bookmarks.
3. Speak the name of the contact, artist or bookmark.
4. Vocalia selects the results close to what you pronounced.
5. Select the correct number by saying "home", "work"... (Contact Mode), or the song to be played by saying "All songs", or the title of a particular album or song (iPod Mode).

Does Not Work!
I purchased this thinking finally a voice dial app that may work and well! Nothing, does not find what i say at all.

Just downloaded Vocalia.
I like it! No vocal feedback to deal with (repeating back to you what you just said). No server connections. No teaching or learning. Just a simple interface. Simply say the name and instantly you are shown a list of the most likely possibilities from your address book. Then touch to dial. I tried 25 different names. All 25 times the correct name was first in the list.
Note: You are required to look at the phone to click the name, so not completely hands free. Only other issue I would warn about is that it takes my 3G phone about 6 seconds to launch and be ready for vocal input. This concept works for me.
Can't get it to work
Purchase using iTunes on PC and the installation failed.
Tried again using the App Store on the phone and the installation worked (I think.)
When I run Vocalia, it puts up a changing purple dot and a message that says "Phonetizing, please wait a few seconds..."
After about a minute, it dies and the phone returns to the home screen.
I have quite a few contacts, but that is the point.
