A good followup pinball game, but I expected more.

One of the first things you'll see BEFORE you get to the table is an ad for their other game. I wish this only showed the first few times because having to wait through that when I already OWN the game is a bit of a pain.

Next, the game defaults with music off for a reason, don't turn it on! The frame rate suffers a bit from it.

There's a new single play and hot seat option this time around, but it's not very intuitive. Tap one finger to toggle between the two and tap two fingers to "insert coin" and start play. The flipper areas are near the top of the screen and near the bottom. They're pretty large and hard to miss (I use the bottom areas when I play). There's a display at the top of the screen that gives score and table status and also a small video display actually on the table. The default view doesn't show it very well, but, as with the last game, you can rotate the playfield. Of course, you're not going to be watching that little screen because there's a lot of targets and action on the table. I found it a little harder to keep the ball in play on this game and had several untouchable balls drop straight through the flippers in the first few minutes of play. This game does have a fairly liberal return policy on the balls, so minor mistakes aren't penalized as much as they are on some of the larger screen console pinball games.

They've decreased the number of balls from 5 in the last game to 3 this time around, which is a plus, but I'd much rather see a preference on the Settings screen than just a hard wired number. If you do decide to play the music, unlike console games that are able to change the background music on the fly, it just drones in the background. Even as the play modes change, the music stays the same. If you've played their other game, you already know this, but I didn't mention it in my other review, so I'm mentioning it here.

There's something about this game that just doesn't seem quite right about this game. It's pinball, for sure, AND has similar physics but their previous effort seemed more pinball-y and to me, more fun..

The perfect portable game

This game is awsome. I am a huge fan of pinball. As soon as I saw it I bought it. The games image is very clean. This one is much better from pinball rollercoaster because this one is more active. This one there are hidden buttions that are neat when hit. The lights are really cool. Also you don't just hit the same buttion every hit so it is more of a challange.

Re:Nice game

I really enjoyed playing it. Nice ping ball game just like rollercoaster.
