After about 30 minutes of entering and reentering my email address, user name and passward over and over and over and over and over, I finally decided it was usless to keep trying. The program would not register me as a user and kept attempting to sync and register me.
If I could give it a ZERO I would.
Sync? Really
Frustrating. Very.
Changes on my.memova web interface DONT sync to Iphone. Iphone changes DONT syc to web. It must explain that is only a backup tool for steady data. I needed to sync, bad choice.
THIS APP SAVED MY CONTACTS
OK, this is a very loooooong story but EVERYONE THAT SEES THIS PLEASE READ!!! I was syncing all my contacts through MobileMe, and somehow all my Contacts got deleted in Address Book on my mac and on Mobile Me. No problem I thought, I'll still have all my contacts in Gmail to sync. Well, I got to Gmail, ALL MY 139 CONTACTS WERE GONE!! So I was totally freaking out and was trying to find a vcard I somehow might have kept in my mac to get them all back, no sucess. Believe me, I'm a hard core tech geek. I had almost given up when I turned on my iPod Touch and, amazingly, still had all my contacts, and I thought: I wonder if there's an iPhone app that will let you sync you're contacts up to the cloud. I got on the App Store and found this App, downloaded and registered with the service, and uploaded my contacts to their website.. I got back on my Mac, logged in the site, and there was ALL 139 CONTACTS. I was able to export and import them back to Gmail and address book in a flash. THIS APP SAVED MY CONTACTS! BTW, THAT'S THE LAST TIME I EVER USE MOBILE ME!! IT DELETED ALL MY CONTACTS!! THANK YOU MEMOVA!!
P.S. If Memova or anyone else that reads this story (AKA Cnet or tech news site) wants to post it on their website feel free, this is the most amazing thing that's ever happened to me in the tech world.
