I like playing both cpu and online. cpu can be beat on hard, by really concentrating and not touching wrong piece. I do wish app had a confirm button or take back. On online play, it would be nice if somehow you could see your own total games vs wins, not sure how ratings work, it appears you get points for just playing besides win/loss ratio. Have had other players disconect when I was winning bigtime and gained no points, guess it would be difficult to tell if legit phone disconnect or not. Wish board was a little bit bigger and bishops made more standout with maybe a slash or cross, sometime confuse them for pawns. I recommend this app and wish more people buy this.
a bit frustrating
This is a fun chess game, with fun access to online play with other people. THE MOST ANNOYING thing is almost every time you are winning the other player suddenly gets "disconnected," which I'm sure is BS 99.8% of the time. I'm sure very rarely you might actually lose internet connection during a game, but funny how it is always when the other player is getting beat. I'm almost to the point of not playing anymore until the developers of this game fix this problem. I think if the other person gets "disconnected," then the other person should get an automatic win, at least post on the stats how many times a person is "disconnected" along with their wins and losses, so one can avoid playing someone with a ton of "dissconnects." Well that's my 2 cents. I'll probably still play from time to time, but this app would be MUCH better if they gave wins to those that don't get "disconnected."
