What's New in Version 1.1
• Driving sequences added along extended straightaways. Tilt the iPhone to avoid obstacles and pick up speed. Keep your boost going by properly timed touches.

Great but not Awesome. I'll explain.
There are too many negative reviews on here about this. I took the leap and downloaded this app. It's only a buck. Maybe you have to be at least a fan of Batman to like this app though.
Yes, it's true that you can't physically drive/steer the Tumbler but it's still good.
You hit buttons at certain times or you tilt the iPhone to level out the Tumbler as its "flying." This sounds simple, but it's not that simple. Getting a hang of it at first is a little difficult but you'll soon be hitting the bonus rounds and getting better times.
It's only one "course" but it does get faster and harder.
My best time is 43.1 seconds. Booyah!
Things I would like to see in an update:
- When you start the Tumbler, give a much, much, much, bigger growl. The current engine sounds like a sporty Cadillac (lame)
- The music throughout the game sound be the theme song, the super powerful song I've heard in the trailer for the Dark Knight. That would make it a lot better!
- Add new maps
- Maybe add a "free range" map where you could drive the Tumbler but just for fun, like a test track where you could test all aspects of the Tumbler.
Oh, I'm giving it 4/5 stars because I want to boost it's rating in the iTunes App Store. It's more of a 3 right now, but it has ALOT of potential. Great graphics too.
5 stars for something new...
First off this is the best looking 3D game on the iPhone hands down. The gameplay falls a bit short , but I realized this was the point as I'm still attempting to beat my best score of 43sec. There's many aspects to this title that people aren't getting as I see read some of the reviews. I think you could add a few features to make it more obvious that you're beating your own score, like leader boards. This is a solid produced game and appropriatley priced at $.99. Would be very cool if you turned this into a full racer.
Excellent game for $0.99
I love this mini game. For $0.99 is an excellent fast paced game. Maybe due to the fact that I LOVE Batman I find this amusing, entertaining and somewhat challenging.
I would definitely pay more for a full game. Don't be misguided by all those people complaining about the lenght of the game or the price. It is about 1minute long but the excellent graphics make up for it.
However, mine is silent. Is it supposed to be that way? I do get the introductory music though.
