The Best Radio app
To the people saying it cant go higher than 96k. You have to go to your settings find shoutcast, and change it to allow high bit streams and your done.
Excellent free mobile Shoutcast radio receiver.
I have used a handful of radio applications (Tuner, FStream, FlyCast, Pandora) and this application is the best as far as the search functionality is concern. As far as performance is concern Tuner is the best – do not recall when it crashed last; however I’ll give this application high grade for
1. Listing – well organized listing.
2. Simple – no nonsense interface.
3. Search – relevant results.
4. Above all – did not ask me to login; always wondered why should I give my email address to hear to a radio station.
Works Decent - READ THIS
This app DOES play 128k streams... you have to go to yoru settings page in the iphone and then scroll down to the shoutcast section. Inside there is an option to "allow high bandwith streams"... turn it on. 96k problem solved. I use this app constantly and NEVER get buffers, the only issue I have is that I have to "warm it up" by going to a NEW webpage in safari every time i turn the iphone screen off; if I dont do this then I get the "no internet connection found" error as well That is the only flaw i've experienced and the work around is annoying, but simple enough.
