Everybody has a few phone numbers they want hidden from prying eyes. Maybe it's your ex, that hot friend you met last weekend, the secret office romance. Unscrupulous individuals can invade your privacy if they get a peak at the incoming call display when that special someone calls. Why risk the chance of unfounded rumors, avoidable fights, and premature announcements.
Overbearing boyfriend/girlfriend keeping a tight tab on your incoming and last outgoing calls. Clearing your call logs or having unknown numbers in your history only makes things worse. Hide-A-Caller Pro allows you to easily create aliases for your secret contacts. Entries in your Hide-A-Caller Pro are mirrored with an incognito entry in your regular address book. Now those private conversations you have with your office romance can look like calls to your favorite aunt or that old best friend back in your hometown. Can't think of an alias name, Hide-A-Caller Pro can randomly generate thousands of common names for either gender.

NOT WORTH THE EFFORT
When I had a Jailbroken iPhone I had a wonderful app called iBlacklist for iPhone. That app really blocked your call and only showed a small icon besides the battery indicating that you had been called or messaged by someone in your blacklist the bad thing is that it only works with JailBroken phones.
Now that I have a "legal" iPhone I downloaded the free app of Hide a Caller.... NOTHING... It still showed all the caller information. So I paid the 1.99 for the "PRO" version.... NOTHING. It shows a different name for your caller but all the information about the call is shown ... If I wanted to show a different name all I had to do was write the person I wanted with a different name on my Address Book. Why pay for something you can do for free....
DON'T BUY THIS APP.
H
Great but would be better if text messages were sent straight to the app then no one can tell u had a text
You cant hide SMS or calls!! I can create alias' w/o this app
The only thing this app gives u is a lock on contacts u dont want in ur general contact list, it also gives u the choice of adding an alias to them, it's not worth the $1.99, if hiding contacts is all im looking for then i'll hide the phone#'s under one of my buddies names, this app should allow you to receive ur texts & calls from hidden contacts in the app itself, even if you have to log into the app to check for hidden contact calls & texts it would be fine, the point would be that they would be hidden from everyone, the phone should not ring when a hidden contact is calling or texting you,it shouldnt make a sound. the texts from hidden contacts go straight to ur general text box & the missed calls go to ur general log which is also ridiculous.
UPDATE PLEASE!!!!
