Outdoor when the 3G signal is not strong, the iPhone automatically switches to GPRS/EDGE networks. The capacitiy of such networks is limited and it is shared with other people in the same area.
This causes the iPhone to stop the radio playback frequently.

Excellent interface. Missing an important feature!
The way you navigate this app is how all radio apps should be: Genre and keyword searches are possible. Makes it finding any station a breeze. It appears this app does AAC-HE (also known as AACplus) which is fantastic!
A few things are wrong with this app: when you tune to a station you have the stream choice of 29Kbps and 128Kbps. These are just fake speed numbers, not something the software detects from the stream. For instance, Sky.FM doesn't stream at those speeds, yet you have those two speed choices. I know for a fact Sky doesn't have 128kbps streams. They should've instead re-label those buttons to say High or Low bitrate instead of placing misleading information.
Another thing this app is missing is the ability to type your own custom stream URLs or save a station to a favorites list. But then again, for a first release, I think this is great. You got the hard work done already, let's now implement the easy features.
Terrible
This application needs major impovement. It has a very so response, needs to touh few times in order for the the keypad to come up. It takes foverver to load a station and am not satisfie with the sound quality. This application does not give the choice to add any station a a favorite.
Great user interface, dynamically selectable bitrate
First impressions: better channel search than most radio apps out there. I like the fact that one can choose the bitrate on some (all?) channels. Now that the channel list has become this long, the app does need a favorites list, because as it is it seems like you have to do a search every time you want to another channel.
