You can even try to manually re-enter an orbit that won't send you off into space or crashing back onto the surface. Choose from nine combinations of attitude and throttle autopilot functions from fully automatic to fully manual.

FEATURES:
- Accelerometer based attitude controls
- Brief built-in help and extensive web-based help
- All controls in transparent heads-up display
- Engine sounds
- Choice of external view of lander, with camera controls, or view from inside.
- Restart button always accessible
- Hide controls for a more unobstructed view

What's New in Version 1.0.3

Please make it work on the first generation iPod touch

Cool Simulation

Warning: the learning curve is a little steep, but you'll find this challenging and fun. Go manual to really experience this game. You'll crash a lot until you get the hang of it.
Developers: I'm looking forward to some updates. Some sound would be nice. Nothing over the top, maybe some nice engine rumble and maybe instrument noises. Also, how about an external view? Keep working on it :)

Challenging

Not quite what I expected, as it's not a game with objectives or anything. The enjoyment comes from mastering the controls, and you have to make your own fun. That said, it's very satisfying. The learning curve is pretty steep, but there's various degrees of autopilot to help you out. It will be a while before you can land safely unassisted.

Graphics are very nice. Some stars or Earth / sun visible in the distance would be a nice touch.

Also, an option to return to orbit after you've crashed (which happens a lot for me) would be helpful.
