Textropolis includes definitions for every word in the game. Watch each city grow as you discover its words and add to your total Textropolis population! Simple and relaxing word game!
Love it. Just what I expected from this game. Simple design puts you straight into the game without unnecessary clutter. Large keys make it very easy to type, and the plane flying across providing definitions after finding out a word is a nice touch, as some words I already discovered - I didn't know existed.
What I like the most though, is that the game is not a race. Just kick back relax and enjoy it. I'm sure if the game is successful, in the future you might want to implement Time Modes for those who enjoy that, but this is a nice easy going word game where you don't have to be stressed out and rush your thoughts because of a time limit. Good change of pace from a lot of other word games where it is all about how quick you are.
One thing that might be interesting and add a little more depth to the game is implement fun facts/history about the cities you unlock every time you reach a new start. I thought that may be sort of a cool achievement, especially for those of us who are interested in geography.
All in all, this is great. Great job!
great no pressure word game
This is a great word game to play when you want to go at your own pace. Since there is no timer, you can play this game for as long or as short as you want, and always pick back up where you left off. It is an easy game to start and stop. Based on how hard it can be to find words as you fill up the stars, this could keep you busy for a very long time! Great value.
Textropolis
Very fun game, but I may have to delete it so I can get my iTouch back from my wife :) To make things worst, she beats the pants off me! We wish we had something like this for our kids when they were young.
