Based on the recently released CG-animated movie of the same name, Resident Evil: Degeneration uses a true 3D engine to immerse players into this 3rd-person survival horror shooter.
Explore Harvardville Airport, rescue survivors, unlock puzzles and battle an army of undead.
Use your in-game PDA to collect intel, manage inventory and access maps.
“Laser targeting” allows the players to make aimed accurate shots.
Backgrounds, character models and objects are all rendered in full 3D.
Intuitive context sensitive control scheme.

Accelerometer features:
- Shake iPhone/iPod Touch to “Shake off Zombie” melee attacks.

Worth it!
I bought this game when it had no reviews, so I was skeptical at first. But after playing I realized that this game is worth it. The game is inspired heavily by RE4 almost to the point of mimicry. Over the shoulder perspective, different guns, laser aiming, the knife, your trusty kung-fu kick, the creepy ambient music, a MERCENARIES mode and even a Merchant-esque character are all here in one enjoyable package. A lot of effort went into this game. Little nostalgic touches such as files scattered on the ground and cutscene button prompts also add to the experience. If you compare this to RE4-5 then you might be disappointed, but remember that there is a major technological difference between PS3/Xbox 360 and the iPhone/iPod Touch. And for an iPhone game this definitely will keep you hooked for a while. Don't let the $7 price tag scare you, you won't be disappointed with this game.

It's a very good, miniature version of Resident Evil 4!

So far anyway. Controls are smooth and graphics are good. Controls are a bit slow but they are very new to me. I just completed the first chapter and I am excited to keep going! Definately worth the money!!
