Getting it right...
Vans Pool Service is a big step towards getting it right on the iphone. In this case the "it" is a Tony Hawk style skateboard game. As this type of game continues to grow and and evolve it creates exciting prospects for the future of iPhone gaming in general. There is room for improvement, but in a way that makes it even more exciting to see where this will lead. If these guys continue to add new levels, and especially more tricks this game could be a big top seller. I'd also like to see a few extra control options or additions. In my case I think a left-right turn stick and the ability to tap the screen to pump the ramp would be nice additions. The best thing is, if this app is never more than what it is right now, at least it has opened the door for a real skate game experience on my phone!
Best skate game, period.
I am an amatuer skater with an iPhone addiction. Vans sk8 raises the bar in terms of realism and overall gameplay. Admittedly the "world" in this game is confined to one pool but I can see tons of potential for further updates.

This game is awesome they need more good skateboarding games on the appstore like this and touchgrind
