Description
Read It Later lets you save websites to read later, even without an internet connection.
When you come across an article or a website you'd like to read but can't at that time, save it to your Read it Later list. You can then read it whenever you have a moment, on the couch, in your commute, on the plane, train, or practically anywhere. This allows you to eliminate the cluttering of bookmarks and inboxes with links that are merely of a one-time interest. It's like a staging area for bookmarks.
The app is a part of the Read It Later service, used by over a million users. Read It Later can integrate with every major web browser and even has a robust Firefox extension. All of your browsers and devices are tied to a single sync account which means you can save an article from work or home and read it on your phone.
Key Features:
- Offline Reading: View complete websites even without an internet connection.
- Sync: Use the same list between all of your computers and devices
- Text-only View: Easy to read mode strips formatting and images
- Quick Scrollbar: Quickly move up and down long articles.
- Sorting: Sort your list by date, title, and site
- Tagging: Organize your list into groups
- Searching: Filter your list by title, site, and tags
- Saved Positions: Remembers where you left off on every article, provides 'Currently Reading' section for a quick overview of open articles. Syncs your scroll position to your computer.

Top Notch
Well yes, if you only want a nonfunctional image of one screen portion of a website, you can take a picture, but if you want one of the best apps out there, way, WAY better than instapaper, dowload this.
I have used the Read It Later Firefox extension for some time, and this app allows me to mark any website I visit on my PC or mobile Safari for offline browsing. There are few apps available that are as useful, and this one's free. I am upgrading to the pro, but this free version is more than a trial. It is feature rich, and a great app in its own right. It is also very east to set up. I don't know how people can have difficulty. The instructions are clearly laid out, and it is just like creating a bookmarklet for any other app. Just set the bookmark, find it in your list, and delete the beginning of the address.
Great for offline reading of web articles
Setup can be tricky if you have foxmarks (xmarks) installed on your pc browser, but once that's taken care of it works perfectly. Offline mode is awesome. Thanks!
Could become my most used app
Great for a 1.0 release. This is a very viable alternative to Instapaper, especially with the price difference between the pro versions. It needs some tweeks (saving multipage stories doesn't seem to work, the little options tab is pretty ugly) but I'll probably jump to the pro version soon, for the extra screen real estate and the ability to share stories. Thanks!
