Hi Parents,

This fun app will entertain your toddler and familiarize him / her with alphabets, shapes, numbers, colors, animals, food and everyday things.

It does this by presenting a collection of 400 beautiful, real photo flashcards that talk in English OR Spanish OR in Your Voice. You and your child will have fun in listening to the talking cards and in easily recording your own way of saying them.

The cards are organized in nine easy collections. Your kid can go to the next card just by swiping to left or right. This app also has an optional AutoForward mode for the little ones who can see & hear the cards even without swiping !!!

Voice Toddler Cards is a fun tool to help your child learn common words. Whether you are at home, on the road, in a line or even in a plane, Voice Toddler Cards is a great way to keep the kid engaged, entertained and learning.

The included 'voice' in each card adds another dimension to traditional flashcards. Not only will your baby learn the common words, he/she will also learn how to "say" them. And, if you choose, say them your way !!

Love it !!!!

Being a kindergarten teacher - I love this app. My 20-month old son is reallllly entertained by this and his vocabulary is is growing as he flips thru the pages. For 99 cents, it's the best app for toddlers hands down!!!

My twins LOVE this app!!!!!

My 2 year old twins love this app so much! I love that they can watch the flashcards while they auto-advance, the huge variety of cards is incredible and the woman's voice is very clear. They have learned SO MANY words from this app already! There are only two things I would add in an update: the option to chose how long a card is being shown (ie, 1 sec, 5 sec, 10 sec), and have the option of how many times the word is said for each card. Otherwise, a FANTASTIC app!!!

Not quite good enough

There have been many improvements to this application, but there are many things that still need to be fixed.

The voice is clear and speaks with a general American accent. A handful of words are pronounced very differently than I would expect, but not enough to totally confuse a kid. Most of the pictures are clear and easy to figure out. The colors in the color category could be better, but they aren't that bad.

However, I have some real issues with word choices. I wrote to the makers of this app and was told corrections would be made. 2 or 3 updates later and some of the same confusing words are there. They claim it was created with the help of a teacher, but this teacher does not approve.

Certain letters have terrible word choices. American kids think c usually sounds like k. The word/picture is cherries. No toddler is going to understand /ch/ is spelled with a c. Several other words use pictures that start with blends (grapes, orange, strawberry, trike). I hate to quibble about x, but most of the time x ends a words and sounds like /ks/. Xylophone is a terrible choice. And alphabet seems to be the only category that starts over every time you pick it. I understand wanting kids to learn there is an order, but most of my students can't start the alphabet from any letter other than A, so it would be great for it to start on the last letter you looked at like the other categories.

Most of the other categories are okay, but the animal category is lacking. Horned goat? Tapir? But not a single M, N, or O animal? It skips right from Lion to Peacock.

I will take the time to write again to the creator, but I wanted to air my concerns here as well.
