Don't let the negative reviews turn you off
At first, I was taken aback by the large number of negative reviews. These must be people who do not like ambient music because I found this to be a wonderful app. If you like Eno's "Thursday Afternoon" and other slow-moving works, this is perfect. I am glad I bought it. Eno fans who bought "Bloom" will be very pleased by this.
Simply mind blowing
Even if you are unaware of these artists, and perhaps have little interest in ambient music, the captative experience of illuminating your screen with delicate water colors that give way to subtle nuances of hums and drones will change your state of mind and actually put you in a better mood. Above all other applications that are supposed to make life simpler, this is something that we need more of. When you need to just relax, this is the best thing an iPhone can provide. Thank you Eno and Chilvers.
Different, but I like Bloom better
More trippy and fairly meditative, but Bloom gives more control to the operator. Trope has its place, but Bloom is still my favorite of this kind of app.
There's room for both.
