Images not transfered with metadata
The Mover application seems to have only one flaw. It works great for what it is doing, but... When you transfer an image, document, whatever, the metadata of the original doesn't come with it. What you get is images with the current date and time the transfer was made, not the date/time/size/location data contained in the original. Other than that I like what it does. Hope they are able to fix this. Will give it 5 stars when fixed.
Nice idea, but it hosed the picture quality
I loved this program at first, but then I noticed what it did to the pictures that showed up on my wife's ipod. Mine were beautiful and sharp, but after they were "slid" over to hers they suffered badly. Very, very blurry.
No thanks. While this is a very cool idea and execution, it still has a long way to go so I deleted it.
Needs update
Excited to share our contacts and photos i sat around table with two other iPhone users, we all three installed this app, we all three have identical phones (iPhone 3G) and we all three were on the same WiFi network. Here are some of the issues we had with this app...
1. Could only get it to work with one of the users, the other could never get my contacts or photos (and vise versa) yet We could see each other on the app.
2. The UI is decent and simple to use/figure out. But some someone can wreck havok on your photos & contacts by dragging stuff to you that you don't want. This is because the app "automatically" addes everything to your contacts & photos, you actually have to quit the app and go find everything manually that you want to delete. An option to delete from the app is needed.
3. We found it much easier and faster to just email or text the contacts/photos to each other or use the much more stable and versitle "Bump" app. Bump even works on Edge and 3G which is somthing you can't do on this free app or the paid version.
Conclusion: It's too bad, this app has potential and its a great idea that just doesnt work that great yet (as of this version). Uninstalled the app.
