There Is A Reason Why This App Is Free
v2.0 Well, I was hoping for an improvement. No such luck. This app free or paid just doesn't work reliably or as advertised. I've read the online help extensively. Some features work, others don't. Can't deal with the unreliability of this app - BAD!
v1.8. Couldn't discern if the problem was with google docs or this app. Google dashboard indicates docs is running without issues. The app itself worked once. I was able to access my docs - one time. After this, the docs would not display. Tried reloading the app, re-uploading the docs I wanted to access without success. Login to google docs was not an issue from the phone. The docs appeared to be present in the app, but would not display no matter what I did. App does not work "out of the box". Gave it a chance. Wasted an afternoon trying to get it to work. Done. Don't waste your time. Docs to go works... Worth the $$. This app is a no go... Not ready for prime time.
not a COMPLETE waste...(but close)
Great concept; flawed execution; incapable of transferring documents via WiFi (and the online directions don't even mention this--perhaps it's disabled in the free version). PDFs are incapable of being downloaded via Google Documents as described (though spreadsheets appeared able to do so (I was interested in this app specifically for the PDFs). Even though it's free, I would not download it, and frankly would not trust any paid app made by SavySoda.
Absolutely Horrible
I downloaded this app to check out the google sync option, and when it opened, the first thing that came up was a popup stating "Annoying Message" that said "Your using a free version" basically asking me to upgrade. But what made me close it immediately after was not the popup message, it was the horrific spelling. How can one expect to have a professional looking app when the English isn't even proper. "Your" instead of "You're" is ridiculous.
