Description
Evacuation is a game of strategy, quick wits, and explosive decompression!
Aliens have invaded your cargo hold, and the only way to get rid of them is to vent them into space! But try not to airlock too many of the crew - they aren't insured!
Tap the doors to open and close them, or tap the floors to place a flag for your crew to rally around.
If you accidentally evacuate the captain, it's game over - he's also the pilot.
If you lose all your crew, it's game over too - when you have no crew, no one can hear you scream...
July 3 Update: We've uploaded a version with updated controls. Keep an eye out for an update once it gets approved!
What's New in Version 1.81
- Further tweaks to input algorithms, should be more reliable on iPhone 3GS devices.
- You can now play your own music instead of the game's music - just start your music in the iPod app before launching Evacuation.
Customer Reviews
Fun!
This game is really cool, I dig the mechanics and the pixel art. My only gripe is that sometimes it misreads where I tap and places the flag instead of opening the door (or vice versa).
Consider adding a "Campaign Mode" where the levels aren't randomized.
Cool stuff guys!
Needs Improvement
Great concept but the controls are horrible and really need work. Half the time, the game isn't precisely recognizing where I'm tapping.
Great concept saddled with a poor control scheme in v1.0
Neat idea, with a nice old school look. Unfortunately, the controls are vague to the point of frustration - I can't tell you how many times I've tapped to place the flag and opened a door instead, sending my whole crew to their doom, and that's nothing compared to the number of times I've tried in vain to get a door to open, only to continually place the flag where I don't want it. If the developers can get the controls fixed, this will be a great little game, but as it is, it's bound to frustrate more than anything.
