Raise your glasses - Introducing Cellar!
Cellar is an amazing new take on managing your wine collection. It's not just a list of names and vintages - it's a cellar! Browsing your wine collection is just like looking at the REAL THING.
Customize each bottle based on:
✭ The shape of the bottle
✭ The colour of the glass
✭ The bottle top
✭ The wine label itself
Add information about each bottle, such as:
✭ Wine Producer
✭ Vintage
✭ Grape (including blends)
✭ Name
✭ Region
✭ Type
✭ Price
✭ Personal notes
✭ Pairings
✭ Drink by…
✭ Personal star rating
✭ 100 pt wine scores
Locations
Cellar is more than just a Cellar. It's a Garage, Wishlist and Trash skip as well! Finished a bottle? Move it to the Garage for future reference if you enjoyed it. Didn't like it? Move it to the trash, where you can locate it later if need be. What about wine that you've been recommended or tasted in a restaurant? Enter it straight into your Wishlist and then move to the Cellar when you eventually purchase it.
Portrait mode
Sometimes viewing your wine in landscape mode is not ideal. Simply rotate your device to portrait and you'll see a list view of what's in all four locations.
Search and Sort
You can search for wine based on any of the data you've entered, as well as sort your entire collection based on: Type, Region, Vintage, Price or Rating. Search and Sort are available in both landscape and portrait modes too!
Backup/Restore/Merge
An often requested feature, Cellar has a great new way to backup your Cellar, then restore it later if need be. Merge is also available now which means that people in the same household can enter half their Cellars each on separate devices, and then merge them both to create a complete database!
Email individual bottles
This feature is very cool. You've heard of emailing wine info to friends in other apps haven't you? Well this is different. When you email bottles in Cellar, you're actually emailing the bottle itself! Not just some info about it. The recipient simply taps the link provided in the email and the whole bottle is downloaded in their Cellar, shape, glass color, label image, notes and all.
More new stuff
Cellar now has statistics on your wine collection, new dessert wine bottle shapes, Quicknote and Quickpair menus for fast data entry, more auto-completion popups, more fields for wine notes, the list goes on. We've even introduced device-to-device Cellar merge (by using mobile Safari on the second device when in Backup, instead of a desktop browser).
Can't decide which bottle to open?
Simply shake the device when viewing your collection and Cellar will choose a bottle for you!

(RP 86-89) Cute app. Large collections beware.
This is an entertaining app, but disappointing from a pure utility perspective. The gorgeous UI is cumbersome, and it would be helpful if a repository of labels were included, or somehow accessible. Mass-import from cellar-tracker or a CSV file would be helpful. The app also needs an "date mature" field, to accompany the "date too old to drink" field.
Nice UI, handy
The UI is very fun, a bit much at times but still fun. I agree with other users about needing more fields (i.e. Where purchased etc). I have no problem having to enter the info myself though.
I think you should be able to entirely delete a bottle without having to drink it and move it to the trash. There should be a simple option to delete an entry you've made.
Overall a fun UI that made me want to take pictures of all my labels and fill up my virtual cellar.
Good, Needs Sorting
Good app. Fairly easy to enter info. Nice interface. Need to be able to sort on different attributes.
