ITUNES REWIND 2009: The Air Canada iPhone app has been selected by Apple as one of the Canadian iTunes Rewind "Best of 2009", a collection of the year's best 30 apps!
200,000 DOWNLOADS: In late November 2009 we reached 200,000 total downloads. Thank you to everyone for making the App such a great success!
BEST MOBILE APP: On December 1st the Air Canada iPhone App was awarded Best Mobile Application at the 2009 Canadian New Media Awards.

Here’s an overview for update v1.3. We hope to bring your more updates soon.
Multi-Segment Flight Search: you can now search any 2 points of a multi-segment flight, including the end points. For example, flight AC33 which flies Toronto-Vancouver-Sydney, you can now search for Toronto-Sydney in addition to Toronto-Vancouver and Vancouver-Sydney.
Add Individual Segments of a Multi-Segment: you can now add or remove individual segments of a multi-segment flight.
Quick “Add to My Flights” Button: when Find Flight returns a single result, Flight Results screen will display an “Add to My Flights” button so you can quickly add to My Flights without having to view Flight Details.
My Flights Refresh on Startup: On startup, your flights in My Flights will be updated automatically with the latest status.
"+" Character for Mobile Number: Ability to add “+” character to mobile number in My Settings. This feature is cosmetic only. You will still receive SMS if you include the “+” or not.

Keep track of all your Air Canada flights from a single location. Refresh flight status by shaking, check-in or sign up to Flight Notification.
MY MESSAGES
A single location for all your Flight Notifications that you have registered to and links to your Electronic Boarding Passes as they become available.
CHECK-IN
Access Air Canada Mobile Check-in to select your seat, retrieve your electronic boarding pass and more.
FIND FLIGHT
Find and track any Air Canada or Jazz flight by flight number or arrival and destination cities. Use the quick links to add flights to My Flights, sign up to Flight Notification or Check-in.

Where's the connection that downloads my existing flights?
A good start
I'd like to see integration with my Aeroplan and Air Canada.com accounts, as well as travel info service such as TripIt and Dopplr.
