☆ "TV ABC News: A new smart phone app could help save lives in an emergency. The iMobile Care app holds important data about you, blood type and primary contact in case of emergency, allergies.
How can you take immediate action that could save lives, including your own, and receive first aid info and guidance about conditions and situations?
The iMobile Care app is an easy to use app to gain fast and essential information about medical conditions and situations. iMobile Care serves as a mobile guide to show users how to deliver aid and care during emergencies and serious events such as accidents, bites and stings, choking, injuries, traumas, chest pains, poisoning, burns, swine flu, among many other critical situations. This innovative and next generation first aid app serves as a quick reference guide, while also providing location, imaging and personalized features.
Several apps already provide first aid guidance as well as excellent information about providing aid, including CPR. iMobile Care creates a more dynamic and interactive offering to deliver first aid and gain information about conditions and situations.
The iMobile Care app does not to purport to substitute for the quality care that well-trained first aid personnel can deliver. But iMobile Care provides solutions and information when time is of the essence, or when conditions and situations require specific guidance.
The iMobile Care first aid pocket guide works best for users who have gone through the various conditions and situations located on the iMobile Care app. VisionSync, Inc. advises users of the iMobile Care app to be familiar with the guide before conditions or situations occur. IMobile Care - Smart First Aid App - Best Mobile First Aid App
This is exactly the kind of first aid app I was seeking - informative, visual, user-friendly, and effective in case either my family or myself experience crisis situations. Also I learned a lot about what to do during back sprains, injuries, burns, and food poisoning and swine flu.

Best of Class ---
This app should be given to everyone wishing to learn first aid skills, as well, as for anyone who wants a "safety net" in the event of accidents or emergencies. Kudos to the team for creating a simple, yet elegant, effective first aid app.
NGO workers could really use some of this info for providing or receiving aid. Very comprehensive. The only item was missing was something about malaria, but the app does cover insect bites and stings.
Excellent app! Without question, the best mobile first aid app I've seen so far!
Doesn't work on iPod Touch? FAIL!
I really like the idea of that app and bought it only to find out that it doesn't work on the iPod Touch. Why? So I am giving a 1 star until that is fixed.
Asks for lots of personal information before you can even run it
I bought it to use as a quick reference in case something goes wrong. Imagine my surprise when I started it up and before it would let me access any of the content I had to provide all kinds of personal information such as name, birthdate, phone number, email address, and set up a password. Then I had to login. This to access information in an app I had just purchase and downloaded to my iPhone. The app itself seems OK, not all that much in there. The conditions are clearly written and they might be useful in an emergency situation. The "locate me" feature is nothing more than you can get from going to google maps on your iPhone -- it will automatically locate you. The "my information" section is not all that useful either. I can write down my doctor there but who is going to know to look that up in this app if I am unconcious?
If they took away the registration and just let me view the content I would have given it 3 stars.
