Description
Field Assets is the ultimate field data collection application for the iPhone and iPod touch. The application enables the user to record the location of assets and to enter information on attributes of assets in the field. The user also has the option of taking geo referenced photos and recording voice memos of assets and their attributes. Data collected can be wirelessly sent from the field in real time or downloaded when back in the office.
Field Assets provides users with a versatile asset management tool. The application enables data collection, mapping, voice recording and photography, all to be carried out using the one device. Field Assets can be utilized in a diverse range of enterprizes from natural resource management to property, utility or infrastructure management.
With the application users can:

Cool App
Data collection on the iPhone > Now I have seen everything.. We did a quick comparison with the handheld we use for some basic road maintenance and the iPhone and this app is alot better. We still need to get the iPhone ruggedized but atleast we have an app I can justify the iPhone for! I wonder if we can lock all other apps so the field guy's cannot play games while they collect data!.

Our Company 4 Site Australia was accepted into the Beta program LBS Wireless offered for Field Assets. We utilized Field Assets for a road side weed maintenance contract, where we collected 2 months of records of 25 weed species over 1500 miles of roads. The application worked flawlessly and saved our team many hours in collating the data for submission to the Government agency, who I might add was very impressed.
Amazing App. for field work!!!
Field Asset is an absolutely amazing app!!!! It makes collecting data in the field incredibly easy and it packages your information into an organized catalog that is very easy to export! It allows you to geo-tag your data with pictures that can be viewed with Google Earth. I survey for invasive plants and having the ability to add specific attributes to each asset is awesome. The interface is intuitive and clean, watch the videos! I love this App! If you do any kind of field work that involves data collection this is the App. for you. One of the most useful tools I have used in the field! I give it 10 stars
