You wanted it fixed so our new game update goes that little bit further to ensure an outstanding football experience:-
• Added a Floating D-Pad option (On by default)
• Increased touch responsiveness within Team Management screens and other places
• Fixed an issue with some players hairstyles
• Increased default difficulty to semi-pro
• Increased the level of AI fouling
• Added a landscape orientation flip to place the headphone jack out of the way
• Music settings are now saved upon exit
• Team Management changes are now saved between games and upon exiting the app
• Fixed an issue with buying some players in the transfer hub
• Fixed an issue with the Match Statistics screen
• Made some changes to how Prestige points were deducted in Manager Mode
Customer Reviews
This Game is a "Beta". (Explained In Review)
The game is a beta. It has not been tested well, but I guess this is something everyone would expect from EA. They don't have a taste of quality in their games at all.
Anyway, I'll list all the glitches I've found so far:
- Some players appear different from far range cameras and close range cameras, such as Barcelona's player Ibrahimovic. (He also happens to have long blond hair from distance, while it's short black when the camera closes on him.)
- In many cases, if a player is red carded, the referee will hold the card in the other hand, while raise the other empty hand for the player (which doesn't have the card).
- In other red card cases, the referee takes out the card, raise it, then when he "puts" it back in his pocket, the card still shows in his hand.
- Always, when given a yellow card after a bad sliding tackle, notice the auto-replay does NOT show the bad sliding tackle, but it shows the player's reaction (who did that tackle) after taking the card instead.
- The commentary does not know player names or club names.
- Also, the commentary comments weirdly on goal attempts. Example: "Fantastic save by the goal keeper!" "That's an easy one for the goal keeper."
- The referee behaves weirdly at the end of each half (when everyone is "going" back to the dressing room). Happens frequently, just don't skip that part, it worth a laugh! (I'm serious).
- In My FIFA 10 >> My Profile, there is a bug. I've never lost a game, but it somehow reported 2 losses. While I really DO NOT care, but how did I lose twice if the same page (My Profile) is showing that my team conceded 1 goal only.
- Player behavior isn't great
On the positive side:
- The game has a very good potential.
- The gameplay is good, but it gets laggy sometimes.
- Nice graphics.
- Has all the teams and leagues one could ask for!
I really hope EA reads this, and listens, but for now I'll give this "beta" 3 stars.
(I'll change my rating, and update my review when EA decides to do something about it)
Even with the new version it's buggy as heck
The game is awesome to play, but it has several TERRIBLE flaws:
1) My team still gets scrambled all the time, forcing me to have to re-set my lineup everytime I go out of Manager Mode.
2) As you transfer and release players, the player's abilities get completely jumbled up. I had a goalie's rank drop from 71 all the way to 22!
3) The buttons on the touch screen sometimes get stuck, especially the movement button. Or my player would simply stop running for no apparent reason.
When the game is working it's great, but I have yet to get through a full season without running into these problems, and the update did not fix the issues even after I did a full restore on my iPhone. Hopefully EA will fix this once and for all as the game is great for killing long airplane rides.
Best soccer game on iPhone!
I bought his game about 3 weeks ago and I liked it but now, with the latest update………… I LOVE IT!!!! the flowing d-pa is awsome ( don't listen to the retard that says it moves everywhere and makes it hard to control the players) it makes it SO much easier/better.
